Little D3 man....

The D2 man shirt came out so of course Nate got them for the kids. They are pretty popular around here, and Ella really wanted to put on the mask, and BECOME D3 woman.
She's just like her daddy...can you tell??

The missing teeth.....

Ella's little BFF Julia finally lost her front tooth today. Of course it's the same exact one that Ella lost a few months back and now they look like little twinners. We love Julia, she is like our own kid....I couldn't resist getting the pictures of the missing teeth.

Then these next two are for Grandma....

This is what Zach does EVERY time he hears a plane. He loves airplanes, he moves his hand in the sky and makes the sound brrrrrrr.

and this is my beautiful Ella playing with her brother in the backyard.

D2 Man swoops in to save Top-Flite’s sagging brand
Friday, March 14th, 2008
Think your company is too conservative to be creative? Think again.

Top-Flite’s fading brand desperately needs help. On March 5th, D2 Man arrived to help the company become relevant again amid a sea of strong new competitors.

In nine days, the following viral has generated nearly a million views on YouTube and a fair amount of word of mouth:

Imagine Top-Flite’s national brand manager, Nate Randle, trying to sell this one:

Okay, so, he’s a golfer. And a superhero. He says macho things, kind of like a rapper. Well, actually he is a rapper. And he has two hot girls with him that are his backup singers. Did I mention they are dressed like schoolgirls? With short skirts? Oh, I forgot that part. Anyway, they cruise around in his convertible and dance around on golf courses. It will all work together. I swear. I can totally see it.”

The company’s campaign site, NeverLayUp includes a few other videos (check out the ads for the “Freak” balls with Kenny Mayne), games and a little attitude:

The golf world has nearly been swept under by a wave of play it safe wimpitude. Fortunately, D2 Man has come along just in time to save golf from the evils of wuss play.

If you lay up, pitch out, or lag putt, D2 Man will be there, mercilessly calling you out on your golfing cowardice.

Here here.

I’m rooting for D2 Man. This campaign is highly creative without falling into the abyss of the lewd and low-brow.

D2 Man is fun, and I hope he can save the day for Top-Flite.

While he’s at it, he can call out companies that haven’t mustered the nerve to do something really different with their marketing.

Before they need saving too.

What say you?

Kindergarten Drama Mama!

So, Ms. Rogers didn't work out for us as we had hoped. The class was just too young, and all of her cute little friends from church and pre-school were in another class. So I did what every crazy mom would do....I fought to have her moved so that she could have a better experience and stay with her sweet friends.
Now going to school is a lot easier for everyone. She has something to look forward to, and she loves that she is in Dalin, Jake, and Avery's class now!
I have to say thanks to all of my good friends that ALWAYS look out for Ella. We again feel such gratitude to have such amazing people around, hugging us in the school yard during Friday morning line up, crying our eyes out (me, not Ella), when the world seems to have stopped, listening on the phone, talking through different situations, and introducing me to the "new" teacher, Mrs. Oakes.
Ella is loving her new place in class. When she walked in a sweet little girl said to her, "you are so pretty", and Ella's eyes lit up for the first time in about a week. It's such an answer to many sleepless nights, and lots of prayers....amazing how one little statement from a sweet little girl can turn EVERYONE'S day around. (Turns out she's the principles daughter, can't go wrong with that friend right?)
It reminds me yet again that most/all prayers are answered through others, and I need to do a lot better at listening so that maybe I can be an answer too!

Ella's First Day of Kindergarten!

Ella is the newest Nicholas Valley Knight! Welcome to the next 18 years of your life!

It's finally come, my little baby is leaving for her big debut at public school! How sad that she will have to leave me for 6 hours a day when she is only 5.
Ella is very excited and can't wait to meet new friends. Her teacher is Ms. Rogers, and we have heard great things about her.
We can't wait to embark on a new journey with our sweet Ella-bella.
Good Luck little one...mommy will miss you, being her little shopping bud!

This is her teacher Ms. Rogers!
Ella in line with her class waiting to go into the first FULL day!

Lots of Shots!

I have pulled the trigger! I finally started getting my photography going! YEAH! It will be Ally Randle photographer...(still working on my logo and slogan) hopefully my "new" photography blog will be up and running in the next two weeks.
Thanks to the cute families that will be helping me launch my new business...I can't wait to see those families and babies!
I also mentored with Julie Parker while I was in Utah. She is fantastic and I LOVE her style of shooting!
You can check us out on her blog:http://julieparkerphotography.blogspot.com/2008/07/get-shcooled-ally.html
I learned SOOOOO much, I can't wait to start! So if anyone needs Christmas cards, you know who to call! :)
And thanks to my hubby who thinks I'm mildly insane, but still supports me 1,000,000 percent!

Finally Kate's Headstone!

The other day my good friend Jenn told me about this blog that she was reading...it is written by a mom who back in June, lost her 15 month old baby by drowning. She happens to be an amazing writer and has documented her pain and thoughts about the last 3 months of her "new" life. Her blog site is: http://adailyscoop.blogspot.com/2008/07/how-to-treat-friend-who-has-suffered_7959.html
She is able to write so many things that I thought, but just couldn't get out!

It brings back lots and lots of thoughts about our Kate and how horrible that time was for our family. This sweet lady tells her story so well, and talks about how to handle and cope with grief, or more specifically how to treat others who are going through it. I think that everyone should read this....most of us (hopefully) will never have to live through this kind of pain, but many of us will know someone that will deal with this type of enormous loss. Just make sure you have a tissue!

When we were in Utah these past few weeks we finally got to see Kate's headstone at Wasatch Lawn. Kate is buried next to her Grandma (Nate's mom). It was Ella's first time to see it, and she drew Kate and her Grandma Rosan a few pictures to leave there.

I am so grateful to have an eternal family. I am so grateful for my beautiful kids and husband. Ella is so wise...too wise sometimes. I hope one day that she will get that little baby sister that she is longing for!
